Got scruples?

Over the past few months, several people have requested an online forum to discuss ethical issues, raise questions, and just stay in touch with other folks interested in the work of the Center for Ethics.

That's why we're now offering "Scruples," a listserv discussion forum that provides a virtual salon for discussion of everything ethics.

Q. How do I use scruples?

Method one: go to the Scruples website, type in your message, and push the "post" button. (You may need to establish a login and password first.)

Method two: send an email to scruples@listserv.emory.edu.

Q. I don't want my email inbox to be flooded with messages. Can I still use Scruples?

Yes. If you choose to subscribe to Scruples, you can select from several different delivery options, or no delivery at all.

If you don't want to subscribe, you can still view and post messages at the main Scruples page.

Q. I have an ethics-related event I'd like to let people know about. Can I post it to Scruples?

You can, but there's a better way. The Center for Ethics has another listserv especially for news and announcements. To post to this list, send your message to Chance Hunter, Coordinator of Communications & Events. At this writing, there are approximately 500 persons subscribed to this email list.
