Bruce Greenfield, Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine, is trained as a physical therapist and is board certified as an orthopedic specialist through the American Physical Therapy Specialty Board. He received an advanced master’s degree (MMSc) in orthopedic physical therapy from Emory University in 1985.  In 1995, he pursued a PhD degree in Educational Policy Studies with a major in Higher Education from Georgia State University. His PhD work focused on qualitative research and the examination of factors that characterize the moral practice of physical therapy. Currently, he is completing a Master's degree in Bioethics from Loyola University in Chicago and serves on the Emory University Hospital Ethics Committee.
