Jennifer Freer Harris

Jennifer brings her knowledge of the Center's mission, scholarship, and programs to heighten awareness of the Center’s stellar body of work within the Emory and Atlanta communities, while supporting increased visibility to a national and global audience as well. To accomplish this task, she consults with the Center administration and faculty to develop and maintain the CFE website, and as well as design and produce communications materials for use on a variety of platforms/media across the Emory campuses and beyond. In her role, Jennifer acts as a Center liaison to the Office of the Provost communications team and directs external media inquiries to our faculty experts.

Jennifer engages audiences on social media to enhance the Center’s profile, recruit program participants/students, inspire donations to fundraising campaigns, and translate technical language into public vernacular. She applies her graphic design skills to create posts, flyers, brochures, program reports, banners and is experienced in the the production process for print and digital projects.

Jennifer’s passions outside of the Center include cats, coffee, gardening, and genealogy.
