The January 2026 volume of The American Journal of Bioethics includes a number of articles responding to the target article, Ethical Controversies in the Adriana Smith Case in Georgia: Brain Death/Death by Neurologic Criteria in Pregnancy. It includes an article by Core Faculty member Kathy Kinlaw, Emory Healthcare Sr. Clinical Ethicist and MAB program alum Kevin Wack, and SON Senior Clinical Instructor Kathy Forte entitled Speaking Without Knowing: Ethical Risks in Public Commentary on Patient Cases.
